LuminOre Inc., the international specialty metals manufacturing company, recently evolved its business model from distributor-based production to providing the fabrication, application, installation and project management for its products strictly under the LuminOre brand. The patented technology, developed by LuminOre founder Tom Valente, allows a layer of real metal – including copper, bronze, iron, brass and aluminum – to be bonded to any lightweight core material, making previously impossible architectural and manufacturing applications a reality.
Studio 2055 created a new brand including strategy for the corporate identity, brand messaging and graphic standards to guide LuminOre’s image. In addition, the Studio provided project management throughout the development of a new website. “My years of working in the building and architecture industries gave me insight into how LuminOre’s customers make purchasing choices. The website design and new materials we created appeal to an architect’s sensibility,” said Nanette Newbry. The Studio’s writing team coined the phrase “visualize, realize, metalize” to give LuminOre’s customers a true visual picture of this unique product. The re-imagined website utilizes tactile, dimensional graphics to emulate the look and feel of LuminOre metal surfaces. The company’s clients are spread around the world, illuminating and enhancing buildings from Las Vegas to Singapore. The beauty and durability of LuminOre’s processes have been used by clients that include Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Barney’s, Warner Bros., The Bellagio and MGM Grand Hotels.
Studio 2055 and its staff immediately understood the product and our goals. All of our expectations were exceeded. The firm’s design and project management capabilities are excellent, said President Tom Valente.
In 2011, Studio 2055 will partner again with LuminOre to develop a marketing strategy, followed by a planned, strategic execution.
