The Studio recently became a supporter of Designers Accord, a network of designers, educators and business leaders who are committed to create positive environmental and social impact. One of the main principles at Studio 2055 is sustainability. We have created guidelines for the Studio and provide clients with more environmentally conscious processes for their projects. Designers Accord is an organization where Comet Creative can join with other companies and designers who also have taken a pledge to be sustainable. There are three goals Designers Accord is striving to fulfill:
1. Increase awareness in the creative community
2. Evolve design education and support professional development
3. Influence policy through design thinking
Through these three goals, Designers Accord motivates others to join together in a worldwide effort to treat our planet as something so precious and important as it deserves to be treated.
We believe that sustainable practices are mandatory for the environment, but also ask clients “how sustainable is your business?” For more than 25 years, we’ve worked with clients that are conscious of how design helps their companies prosper and grow.
