People each day are giving up regular TV viewing and, instead, are streaming video on their laptops and iPads. Businesses realize that online users want the instant gratification and the creative messaging that comes with video–it’s immediate and engages viewers with little cost.
We recently produced an illustrated motion graphic video with original music for Thumbprint Publishing. This new self-publishing business wanted to differentiate themselves from other online publishing companies. What they found is that many of these companies have confusing processes with many hidden costs. So Thumbprint Publishing developed a business model that gives authors an easy way to get their book published. What better way to explain this than using a friendly illustrated story including music and motion? As a start-up with a number of published books under their belts, they are using the following video to introduce their company.
Videos are:
- Searchable by online search engines and receive a higher ranking than text alone. Top search results equates to increased visibility and visits to your website.
- Entertaining and stimulating, resulting in better click rates than images or text links.
- Customizable for your industry and branded to your company, resulting in slick marketing.
- Engaging; they add memory retention to your brand and messaging.
- Able to embed in your website, email marketing, e-newsletters and blog
SEND YOUR HOLIDAY MESSAGE WITH VIDEO
The holidays are coming…again. I was at Modern Postcard for a Toastmasters meeting yesterday, and they had their Christmas tree up (they were testing the lights on a new tree). Now is the time to consider using video or motion graphics for your holiday message. Look at what we did for ID Studios, one of San Diego’s top interior design companies. Holiday Greeting 1 features Flash animation and Holiday Greeting 2 uses stop motion photography. Also, check out Studio 2055’s Halloween Greeting.
