To address the issue of trash on our beaches, Nanette, Richard and Tawny volunteered for the Moonlight Beach Cleanup this month. In support of reducing the plastic footprint, volunteers used reusable bags, buckets and gloves. When the cleanup was finished, the Surfrider Foundation sorted, weighed and recorded our trash findings for the organization to use later for research. All in all, it was a great morning, getting some exercise and leaving behind a pristine beach!
