As an ongoing internship program at Studio 2055 enters its 15th year, we are happy to introduce our newest design intern, Leslie Rekettye, who earned a degree in Biology from John Carroll University in Cleveland. After graduation, Leslie moved to San Diego to work for Advance Tissue Sciences, a biotech company located in Torrey Pines business park.
Leslie ultimately left bioscience to indulge her passion for art and photography. She took design courses at UCSD and the New Media Center for Education and Technology, with emphasis on digital media and web design.
Leslie’s design experience took her to Petco and Road Runner where she worked on in-store displays, created brochures and assisted in marketing programs.
Last month, Leslie joined Studio 2055 as an intern, where she ably assists the Creative Director with design and web projects, as she works in a “real world” design studio.
In May of 2010, Studio 2055 will be celebrating its 25th year in business.
