June 24, 2014 – San Diego, CA – Studio 2055 announces the launch of a new brand for San Diego’s preeminent general contractor, Reno Contracting. Led by Principal and Creative Director, Nanette Newbry, Studio 2055 collaborated with Reno’s President, Walt Fegley and Project Development Director, Eric Scheidlinger, to reevaluate their brand and positioning to support their business growth.
“The competitive nature of the construction industry demands that companies communicate their points-of-difference and how their experience benefits clients,” Ms. Newbry noted recently. “Reno has worked diligently to expand their services into the commercial solar and energy-efficiency consultation, and Mr. Fegley saw a growing need for this kind of work with the passing of Title 24 in California.” The new branding encompasses the core general contracting services along with attention to three divisions: Reno TI, Reno Solar and Reno ESP (Efficient Sustainable Practices).
A new website was designed to drive qualified leads to the site. “Backed by a robust content marketing strategy that will be implemented by Reno’s marketing department, the site will enhance their thrust into these new markets,” said Ms. Newbry. “Many companies in the building industry have been slow to understand how powerful the web is and what it can do for them. The first point of contact oftentimes is online. With sales cycles sometimes two to five years long, building that personal relationship with a client starts online. Reno Contracting really understands this dynamic.”
“Having Reno and Studio 2055 philosophically and culturally aligned equates to branding, messaging and advertising strategy easily understood and effectively delivered to our industry clients,” said Mr. Fegley.
Studio 2055 was selected by Reno Contracting, Inc. for their expertise in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering and construction) industries. The Studio has over twenty years experience working with clients such as Hope-Amundson, Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects, McCullough Landscape Architecture and the San Diego Architectural Foundation.
