After meeting Michael Havis founder of Educate to Career, his enthusiasm for helping high school students was catchy. As a California nonprofit, Educate to Career qualified for Comet Creative’s grant program for creative services.
This week, Educate to Career announced the release of its ETC College Rankings Index – an outcome-based college rankings index for the real world. According to Mr. Havis, “The Index empirically determines the economic value added by each of the over 1200 colleges ranked within our system. We calculate the improvement in earnings and employability of persons who attended specific colleges, relative to persons who are similarly situated in other colleges. Not so surprisingly,” Mr. Havis concludes, “local public colleges tend to offer the best value in a college education based on our criteria.”
In advance of the release and announcement, Taylor Schultz with Comet Creative worked with Mr. Havis on creating logos for both the organization and ranking index.
