San Diego’s premiere sign company, Glanz Signing + Graphics, chose Studio 2055 over dozens of competitors to rebrand their operation with a re-imagined logo and a comprehensive renovation of its existing website. Nanette Newbry, Studio 2055’s designer, saw the project as a thrilling, albeit challenging, opportunity.“Glanz has been in business for over 50 years, designing, building and installing custom signage. Their work is prominently displayed throughout San Diego County. So, they know what it means to project an image to the marketplace – an image that must command attention in a crowded visual field,” Newbry said. “That they selected Studio 2055 to design and project their own image in cyberspace was a great honor – one that we did not take lightly. We were determined to give them a website that reflected they high standards they deliver to their clients.”
The rebranding was triggered by a vibrant, new logo – a delightful visual trick that grabs the eye by utilizing negative space. A new, user-friendly website was designed with a focus on simplified access and ease of navigation. New, stimulating content was generated that promoted the company’s longevity and their impact upon the community, featuring their wide-ranging presence across dozens of commercial applications, from The Scripps Research Institute to the USA Olympic Training Center.
“The creative work that Studio 2055 developed for us has taken our image to the next level. Nanette guided us through the web development process…we’re thrilled with the results,” said Don Glanz, owner of the company. “The project came in on time and within our budget.”
Studio 2055 was established with the mission of implementing brand strategy campaigns and design for progressive clients. Studio 2055’s strength is built upon excellence in providing award-winning design that places their clients firmly at the forefront of their audiences.
