The San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) will be launching an ongoing forum series, titled Context to further the organization’s commitment to keep conversations alive about the value of excellence in San Diego’s built environment. The SDAF committee chose Studio 2055 to provide branding, collateral and marketing communication for the Context program. In turn, we will become one of the leading sponsors of the forum. Every year we provide brand marketing services to a non-profit through the firm’s grant program, and we’re excited to help support SDAF’s mission.
The first forum titled Celebrating Civic Courage will be led by two of San Diego’s preeminent citizens, philanthropist Dr. Irwin Jacobs, a co-founder of Qualcomm, and award-winning architect Rob Quigley, FAIA, who is the designer of the project. The event will be held at the library on April 29 with a VIP reception. During the forum, Dr. Jacobs and Mr. Quigley will exam the extraordinary public and private efforts that brought the new San Diego Central Library to realization.
The studio will collaborate with the SDAF committee on event branding, email marketing, invitations and other support material. Margit Whitlock of Architectural Concepts, chairperson for Context, is leading the efforts.
“With our strength in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering and construction) industry, we’re thrilled to work with Margit and the committee at SDAF to launch this new program for San Diego. We especially are grateful to be the Art Gallery Sponsor at the first event and hearing the experiences of Mr. Quigley and Dr. Jacobs,” said Nanette Newbry, Principal of Studio 2055.
Context Sponsorship opportunities are available for the event by calling SDAF at 619-232-1385.
