On October 23rd, come support nanotechnology and celebrate NanoTecNexus’ ten years of education and advocacy for this advancing science. The event’s theme “The Science of Beer” kicks off the party with White Labs developing a yeast and Stone Brewery mixing up Red Rye Ale, a new special release beer just for the evening’s festivities. We are proud to support this evening of science and fun as we have a personal interest in nanotechnology advancing a cure for cancer.
The evening will be packed full of not only great friends, colleagues, food and drink; you will also learn about NanoTecNexus’ K-12 education initiative, honor the winners of the prestigious NanoStar Award, experience nano-demos and make a difference by participating in the live auction.
NanoTecNexus’ mission is to transform how individuals learn about nanoscience and inspire K-12 students to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education and careers. On hand to mark the occasion of her company’s founding ten years ago, Adriana Vela, CEO of NanoTecNexus will discuss the organization’s new K-12 program. Kris Ketcham, brew manager at Stone Brewery will be a guest speaker, as will Chris White and Neva Parker of White Labs, Come early to Liberty Station to enjoy a night to remember and an event that shouldn’t be missed! We’ll see you there.
