Free Software Tool for Generating More Content on the Internet
WordPress has become a leader for content management systems (CMS) and boasts, “over 60 million people have chosen the software to power the place on the web they call ‘home’”. For non-technical individuals, we think WordPress is the best option and is free to use.
For several years now, Studio 2055 has used WordPress to manage our blog content and has built many WordPress websites for clients. As we see it, WordPress is great for two reasons:
1) For adding a page to a company website and managing the content;
2) For building a website with the ability to change content easily and frequently.
Recently I attended Palomar College’s Graphic Communications Internet and Multimedia Advisory Board Meeting and the hot topic industry leaders were talking about was content generation. For businesses, this is imperative for brand exposure and can be done with WordPress. The more content posted online, the higher search ranking.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to have the blog posts on the front of your WordPress website; in fact, you can set any static page as your homepage and have your blog inside the main site.”
